ProVen Probiotics Lactobacillius & bifidus for Toddlers 60g (PR03)

The Lactobacillius & bifidus for Toddlers has been developed specifically for infants from 12 months to 4 years of age. It contains the Lab4b group of four types of friendly bacteria, which naturally form part of the microflora population of infants, and also two types of prebiotic called GOS which is found in high concentrations in breast milk and FOS which is found in fruits and vegetables. It is now recognised that healthy bacteria are just as important to infants and toddlers as to adults and that the establishment of a robust population of friendly microflora as soon after birth as possible is critical in driving the development of a healthy immune and intestinal function. Maintenance of this beneficial bacteria during the early years of life is also important. However, it is acknowledged that modern living conditions, particularly for the infant, may inhibit or slow down the natural development of the normal flora.
