Quintessenza di Semi caldi by Forza Vitale is a nutritional supplement based on essential oil from Hot Seeds. With antibacterial, antispastic, aperitif, carminative, cholagogue, diuretic, stomatal, general tonic properties and in particular of the stomach and intestine. The essential oil extracted by distillation from the seeds of the fennel plant (Foeniculum vulgare), a Middle Eastern Mediterranean umbelifera already known to the Greeks and Romans; it is a colorless or slightly yellow liquid, aromatic and not very dense. Variable amounts of 2 to 6% are obtained, containing 50-70% of trans-anethole which gives it a sweet taste, up to 20% of phenolic with a bitter camphor flavor; with the presence, in addition, of methylcavicol, anisaldeide and some terpenic hydrocarbons, such as α-pinene, α-phelandrene, limonene. Antibacterial, antispastic, aperitif, carminative, cholagogue, diuretic, stomatal, general tonic and in particular stomach and intestine properties are attributed to this essence.
