Oxford Vitality Bilberry Tablets 120
Origins of Bilberry The name 'Bilberry' is a common name for several different small shrubs in the Ericaceae family of plants - all the shrubs bear sweet and delicious fruits. Bilberry fruit originates from the bilberry plant, known in Latin as the Vaccinium myrtillus. The shrub is largely native to Scandinavia, Scotland and Poland, although it originates from Central and Northern Europe, Northern Asia and America. The Bilberry fruit is similar to those of the North American blueberry and the huckleberry, two fruits also belonging to the Vaccinium genus. The shrub grows to heights of 40cm in optimal conditions of light woodland with substantial light.
