Pyrosalvin is an appetite stimulant, digestive, and antiseptic. It is also considered a general tonic and hypoglycemic. Externally it is astringent, due to the presence of tannins, healing, antiseptic and topical antirheumatic. It is indicated for inappetence, asthenia, dyspepsia due to gastrointestinal atony, biliary dyskinesias, hyper-sweating, dysmenorrhea, hyperglycemia, oliguria. In External use: stomatitis, pharyngitis, wounds, vaginitis. It is recommended for internal use to boil 2 minutes and let stand 10 minutes. For external use use 30 to 40 g / l, boil 10 minutes.
