Chamomile Essential Oil is recognizable by its typical, pleasant and spicy smell exhaled by its flowers. It appreciates siliceous soil and its flower heads are picked one by one from July to September. Roman (or noble) chamomile thrives in temperate regions of Europe, and particularly in France, where Maine-et-Loire cultivates around 90 hectares. Its name comes from the Greek "kharaimelon" which means "potato", because it grows close to the ground and the scent of its newly opened flowers is reminiscent of the apple. It is recommended to take a maximum of 2 drops 3 times a day of Roman Chamomile essential oil on a Puressentiel neutral tablet (or 1 teaspoon of honey, olive oil, or 1/4 sugar). Do not use pure Roman Chamomile essential oil without support, or mixed with water. For other advice on use, ask your pharmacist for advice. Equivalence: 1ml = 34 drops.
