Betaine HCL from Naturitas, a food supplement based on Betaine HCl and Pepsin. Gluten free and lactose free. Hydrochloric Betaine is a food supplement used in order to increase gastric acidity. It is produced through the fermentation of vegetable starch. Pepsin is an enzyme that helps the digestive process, hydrolyzing proteins in the stomach. It is of porcine origin, so it is not suitable for vegetarians.
