Made in the Hamamatsu factory in 1986. It has wonderful full rich tone, with quality bass registers and a sparkling treble range. The Yamaha action is great to play , very responsive and articulate. The piano being a Japanese made model has a certain pedigree of quality manufacturing attributed to Yamaha's japan factory, very well respected by piano players of all skills. The piano has 3 pedals, the middle pedal being a practice celeste pedal, for quieter evening practice. The piano is finished in the American walnut finished and Polished, has you can see from the photos , it has suffered with sun fading, on about all the case. This doesn't in any way detract from the quality of the piano as an instrument, just purely cosmetic. I somewhat think it adds a bit of character to the piano!
