The Kori collection, by Swedish designers Studio TAF, features a clever Toy of direct and indirect light. The slender, compact shape of this floor lamp is reminiscent of a lighthouse. In Finnish, Kori means basket and refers to the central element of its design: its Lampshade, conceived to create a warm luminous atmosphere evocative of sunlight filtered through the leaves of trees. The Basket-shaped Lampshade creates a direct, glare-free light upwards, while distributing a wider cone of diffused indirect light underneath, offering both functional and ambient lighting. Thanks to the combination of intelligent design and clean aesthetics, Kori is a contemporary interpretation of the modernist union of form and function.
