He was assistant to the famous sculptor Constantin Brancusi in Paris. After studying the art of the brush in China, he moved to Japan to work in Clay with master potter Jinmatsu Uno. Isamu Noguchi's artistic work reflects his life and work in different cultural milieus. He is considered a universal talent whose creative work is not restricted to sculpture, encompassing the creation of theater sets, furniture, lighting, interior design and the planning of public spaces and gardens. His sculptural style is dedicated to an organic formal language that had a lasting influence on design in the 1950s. In keeping with a purely geometric formal language, the Prismatic Coffee table is inspired by traditional Japanese paper-folding techniques. This side table is made up of three elements in folded sheet metal, available in 3 different shades of grey. Together, they form a three-legged table with a hexagonal top and a subtle cameo of grey tones. The Prismatic coffee table is available in three versions: Dark grey cameo, Grey cameo, Light grey cameo. The Prismatic Coffee table can be used on its own. Arranged in groups, Prismatic Tables create extraordinary kaleidoscopic patterns.
