The Intumescent Pad from Fire Essentials is manufactured to suit 64/76mm dead locks. This is to seal the gap between the metal lock and the fire door, if a fire occurs. From 0.8mm - 2mm thick meaning minimal rebating is required.The Graphite-based Fire Rated intumescent material is flexible, easy to install, and made in the UK. Fire Essentials Intumescent Pads are compatible with 99% of all UK fire-rated door hardware.
