Morgenland This colourful Abadeh rug has been hand knotted with great care. It's an extremely attractive and hard-wearing rug, which has been knotted in the city of Abadeh, in south-western Iran. The small town of Abadeh is located between Isfahan and Shiraz. The pattern has been influenced by the nomads, and often consists of a central hexagon, with a rosette or a medallion.
