The solid sheet sits next to steel mesh which forms an ethereal, elegant texture, playing with transparency. Depending on the observer’s point of view, the metal mesh lets light and looks through, or on the contrary, prevents it... This simple, refined dresser is a modern embodiment of industrial aesthetics. The Tristano dresser has a large compartment closed by a metal mesh folding door (magnetic closure). Translucent, the metal mesh partially conceals the contents of the sideboard, making it impossible to clearly distinguish the contours of items. In this luminous version, the compartment is lit by an LED strip which diffuses pleasant ambient lighting. This piece of furniture completely corresponds to the philosophy of the ZEUS brand: creating items which are simple, authentic, functional and economic. A quest for the essential achieved by total expertise in materials and incomparable skill to work metal. Zeus furniture is made by skilled craftsmen in Italy, near Modena. Each piece is made by hand: the metal is cut, assembled, welded and painted by hand. Each piece is unique. Steel is a recyclable material and any metal scrap not used during manufacturing is recycled for re-use.
