Made from eco-responsible recycled plastic, these vases embody the constant search for new tactile and aesthetic effects, while preserving the environment. An attention-grabber like no other, Okra is a sculptural Vase distinguished by its undulating shape and ridged surface. The pleated Plastic material adopts bold curved lines. The sinuous, organic, flowing forms give a harmonious appearance to the whole structure. Patricia Urquiola: ''Working with Kartell has enabled me to seek out expressive solutions that only highly sophisticated molds can create, in order to share them with the general public.'' Okra comes in a superb palette of fresh, transparent colors. A feminine design touch to give any interior an ultra-chic twist... For the first time, Kartell uses recycled PMMA in its transparent products. This eco-responsible material is mainly derived from the depolymerization of industrial plastic waste. This material retains an aesthetic quality and structural properties comparable to those of virgin material. In this way, industrial plastic waste is given a second life to create new, sustainable products that will become design icons.
