The iconic Vertigo pendant now comes in two exclusive limited-edition colours: coral and emerald green. Released in 2010, the Vertigo pendant created by French designer Constance Guisset has become an iconic light with its contemporary design. A true star of decoration magazines, it’s the darling of decorators and interior designers. Recognised very early on by the highly influential Milanese gallery owner Rossana Orlandi, this large chandelier has joined an anthology of prestigious permanent collections like Moma, Cap and MAD. The Vertigo pendant received the public prize in 2006 at Villa Noailles. Made in France, this pendant consists of a multitude of flexible polyurethane ribbons stretched by hand on a fine fibreglass structure. The ambition behind the project was to develop a large-scale graphic pendant, while making it very light and airy to add movement. With its real emotional force, this moving pendant is extremely light (less than 500g). It floats freely in space and twirls gently under the effect of drafts... Like a wide-brimmed hat, its mysterious, enveloping shape suggests an intimate space. A true "cabin lamp", it blends naturally into its environment by delimiting a graphic, almost transparent space, as if suspended between floor and ceiling... Vertigo magnifies the light and projects a nice shaded pattern onto the surrounding walls once lit. The arrangement of the light source allows for both intense and diffuse lighting. A remarkable piece of design made according to the highest quality standards! This lamp requires no assembly. It’s delivered folded. From the start, Amélie du Passage, founder of Petite Friture, made a clear choice to bring out the Good in Beauty. In 2010, she entrusted manufacture of the Vertigo pendant to APF France Handicap, advocating an open, inclusive and supportive society. A society where we live, together. This commitment has been consolidated over time, and today, a workshop of 30 people manufactures most of the lighting collections produced by Petite Friture with expert precision.
