Freestanding baths are a luxurious centrepiece to any modern bathroom. Abacus offers its own elegantly designed freestanding bath to enhance the bathroom experience. The Varese is a freestanding bath made from Lucite Acrylic, a trademarked high strength and quality acrylic resin, which makes the bath durable and long-lasting. With no seam joins on the inner and the outer of the bath, this gives Varese an elegant one-piece effect which is truly eye-catching. The freestanding bath also has no tap ledge, which gives you the option to add further elegance to your bathroom with floor or wall mounted taps. It is important to note that the waste pipe needs to be run within the floor for a freestanding bath. Varese is supplied without a waste, so Abacus recommends the Viega Multiplex Drain/Overflow Visign M5, which features chrome plated design and an odour trap, and delivers on high-performance draining. Alternatively, a Slimline bath filler with click clack waste can also be fitted. The bath trap can be sited above floor level, and a floor fixing kit is also available for the Varese.
