The Alusthetic Aluminium Double-Seal Recess 68mm Manhole Cover, tested to EN124 for lorry load bearing, is perfect for external use. It blends seamlessly with its surroundings, offering a more attractive alternative to large silver covers. The recessed frame can be filled with the surrounding substrate, making it ideal for tiled, paved, and grassy areas. Made from extruded aluminium, it features a 3mm galvanised steel bottom plate and a reinforcement mesh. It has dual seals, one at the base and another on the frame, to reduce tension, prevent odours, and stop dirt buildup. The T-rubber seal prevents odour leakage and ease of dirt entry. Although 450mm x 450mm with a 510mm x 510mm external size, in-tray depth is 68mm, and overall depth is 80mm. It fits clear openings and comes with lifting keys for easy maintenance. Double-sealed covers offer a range of sizes from 300mm x 300mm to 1000mm x 1000mm with varying depths. Not lockable, but triple-sealed options are available..
