Sura Vitasan Beta-Carotene is a complex of 100% natural mixed carotenoids extracted from crude red palm oil, which is the largest natural source of carotenes (retinol equivalents). It contains approximately 15 to 300 times more retinol equivalents than carrots or tomatoes. The mixed carotenoid complex of crude palm oil contains approximately 33% Alpha-carotene and 65% Beta-carotene, in addition to other carotenoids (gamma-carotene, lycopene, etc.). Alpha-carotene and Beta-carotene act synergistically to provide greater health benefits compared to Beta-carotene alone. Our formulation presents one of the highest concentrations of beta-carotene as a precursor of vitamin A in combination with other additional carotenes.
