Having been used in U.K. construction projects for over a hundred years, the LBC Common Fletton Brick is a stock brick without a decorative face measuring 215mm x 65mm x 102.5mm. Most commonly used for constructing walls that aren't visible, below damp proof courses and in garden builds, despite its lack of decorative finish, the Common brick can still be used as a facing brick. It is therefore advised that you allow for some wastage by ordering between 5% and 10% more than you require. This will mean that even if some breakages do occur, your project should not be delayed., Orders of four packs or fewer are delivered on a tail lift lorry and offloaded using a manual pump truck for kerbside delivery. To unload and move bricks around on a pump truck, a flat concrete road surface is required. These lorries cannot be unloaded whilst on a slope, and the pump truck cannot be used on grass, soft road surfaces or gravel roads., Orders of five packs or more are delivered on a crane off-load vehicle unless the delivery address is particularly difficult to access. Crane offload delivery cannot be guaranteed to Cornwall and Scotland and depends on hauliers' availability. If a crane-mounted lorry is not available for a longer period, another vehicle type will be organised. If a crane lorry is necessary, it can be potentially sourced from elsewhere, but this will incur additional transport costs and cause delays in the delivery..
