The first woman to design a collection for Tolix, Pauline Deltour has succeeded in combining poetry and robustness with PATIO. The collection was left unfinished following the untimely death of the French designer, a true shooting star of design. Her studio was keen to perpetuate her legacy and has continued to bring the project to life, adding new models to this timeless collection. The Patio range of stainless steel outdoor furniture embodies Tolix's taste for clean-cut, functional designs. Patio furniture features fluid, uncluttered forms. In this project, every detail counts: the lines are right, the shapes are balanced. Full and loose, solid or laminated sheet metal... With its filigree forms, stainless steel, however resistant it may be, becomes poetic and ethereal, like calligraphy. From the very first prototypes, Pauline observes, tests, readjusts, until she finds perfection. Working alongside Tolix technicians, she finally found the right equation to offer a balanced, timeless and easy-to-live-with furniture design, produced at the Tolix factory in Autun, Burgundy. Mix and match versions, dare to combine tangy colors or play with cameo tones... PATIO gives you the freedom to create your own universe! Lightweight, stackable and hard-wearing, PATIO has been designed for you.... so you can enjoy life to the full without worrying about the rest. The sturdiness of this furniture makes it ideal for intensive use, such as in the hotel and catering sector. The Patio collection is perfectly suited to outdoor use, thanks to its 100% recyclable stainless steel construction. This material offers perfect resistance to corrosion, even in difficult environments (seafront, swimming pools, etc.). The entire Patio collection is made in France at the only TOLIX factory in Burgundy.
