Air Jordan 1 High OG UNC Toe | UK11.5 | The Sole Supplier

Although hype around the Air Jordan 1 High OG seems to be slowing down, this “University Blue” colourway is expected to see floods of sneakerheads return to the silhouette. Comparisons have already been made as this release is similar to the “UNC Patent Blue Chill” edition from 2020 and even the “Obsidian” iteration the year before. If you missed out on either of those high heat releases and aren’t willing to fork out the hefty resell prices, then make sure to not sleep on this upcoming “UNC Toe” iteration! The hits of blue can be found in all the key areas including the vamp, heel panel and collar. The standard leather quality is also to be expected, with a higher quality tumbled leather reserved for the blue panelling. The black Wings logo is debossed on the collar, a classic touch to any High OG. Black laces provide the lockdown on this pair and highlight the shoe’s darker palette. Underfoot, the iconic Jordan 1 tread has been given a lick of University Blue, a feature that harks all the way back to the original “UNC” edition from ’85. This is the first time that the “University Blue” shade has been remixed with the “Black Toe” colour blocking, an easy way for the Swoosh to attract the attention of sneakerheads both old and new.The Air Jordan 1 High OG “UNC Toe” will be hitting the Nike SNKRS app and select retailers on the 22nd of July, so make sure to set a release reminder. We reckon this could be the best Air Jordan 1 High colourway of ‘23, beating out the “Washed Pink” and “Lucky Green” iterations, but what do you guys think?
