This table lamp, featuring a coloured glass lampshade, is a relaunch of the original model designed by Charlotte Perriand in 1965. Le Corbusier’s colleague favours simplicity and usability over luxury. Charlotte Perriand's Desk Lamp was born from an order by the famous French glassworks Boussois, in 1965, for whom she created a wall light intended to illuminate the faces reflected in the mirror of a piece of furniture. The wall light was then produced in table lamp version in a secondary phase. The light grey steel stem is anchored into a dark grey wall base. The lampshade is made of translucent coloured pressed glass. The inside of the lampshade is white. For flexible light positioning, the stem rotates by 120°.
