My objective was faceted geometry. I reduced the number of facets to a minimum, while managing to retain a classic columnar appearance. I wanted an even number of sides, so I could integrate the Pouring spout into the main body using a point along the symmetrical axis to pour naturally. I made a 15-degree Bowl cut in the upper part of the body to highlight a direction of use, the lower point becoming the obvious place where I could attach the handle. Where the handle lowers, I introduced a Bowl to create a diamond shape, providing a flat face on which to rest the thumb when used for pouring.
