Oxford Vitality Vitamin b12 tablets 120
What is Vitamin B12? Vitamin B12, otherwise known as Cobalamin, is a water-soluble vitamin that is stored in the liver within the body. Vitamin B12 can only be absorbed if the intrinsic factor (a protein produced in the stomach) is present. Without this factor, Vitamin B12 passes through the intestine and is excreted. The vitamin was founded in the early 20th century. Vitamin B12 is available in four main forms called Hydroxylcobalamin, Methylcobalamin, Cyanocobalamin, and Adenosylcobalamin. This tablet contains the Cyanocobalamin form of vitamin B12. Once consumed, this form of Vitamin B12 is converted into either Methylcobalamin or Adenosylcobalamin, the two active forms of Vitamin B12 within the human body. Cyanocobalamin is produced from natural sources via the fermentation of Pseudomonas denitrificans. Benefits of Vitamin B12 Vitamin B12 is primarily known for its contributions to normal energy-yielding metabolism, reducing feelings of tiredness and fatigue.
