Ferrasorb provides elemental iron, plus the active forms of folate and vitamins B6 and B12, which are essential for blood formation. Vitamin C optimizes iron absorption. Ideal in case of weakness, fatigue, shortness of breath when exercising, dizziness, spots before the eyes, irritability, infrequent menstruation and loss of libido. It is recommended to take 1 capsule one to three times daily or as recommended by your healthcare professional. This product is contraindicated in people with a history of hypersensitivity to any of its ingredients. If you are pregnant, consult your healthcare professional before using this product. Supplementation with 5-methyltetrahydrofolate (5-MTHF) is not recommended in conjunction with anti-malignant cell therapy with methotrexate, as it may interfere with the antineoplastic activity of methotrexate; however, this source of folate has not been shown to interfere with the anti-inflammatory activity of methotrexate. A person taking methotrexate for psoriasis or rheumatoid arthritis can safely take a supplement that contains folate.
