Afta-pro acts in all phases of mucosal damage: Initiation phase: ditriamino, thanks to its immunoregulatory and antiviral action, prevents the appearance of viral and non-viral canker sores. Signal amplification and ulceration phase: ditriamine decreases the production of pro-inflammatory substances. Vitamin C reduces the appearance of ulcers and reduces the discomfort they cause. Healing: ditriamine is a source of amino acids for collagen production. Vitamin C is involved in the synthesis, maturation and secretion of collagen.
