The Bacopa Monnieri - Bacognize® extract used in the Optim Memory & Focus formulation has been validated by clinical trials: with students and people over 50 years of age. Bacosides, the active principles of bacopa, act by regulating: - the level of serotonin that is involved in memory processes. - the level of acetylcholine, the neurotransmitter responsible for memory and learning - and the level of γ-aminobutyric acid (GABA) that plays an important role in adults by preventing prolonged excitation of neurons. Longvida® curcumin from Optim Memory & Focus has been developed by a group of neuroscientists at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Several scientific studies have shown that the Longvida® formulation increases the bioavailability of curcumin in its active (free) form, capable of crossing the blood-brain barrier. A clinical study from Swinburne University showed that Longvida® curcumin significantly improves working memory and reduces mental fatigue. 1 capsule a day, preferably before any meal. Initial phase: 2 capsules a day for the first two weeks. It can be taken all year round without complications for the stomach. It is a food supplement with good tolerance up to 10 capsules. In pregnancy and lactation: It is better not to use it because there are no studies carried out on pregnant people or during lactation.
