It offers excellent breathability, and is fast-drying and hydrophobic - so it won't hold moisture like natural down insulation. A DWR-coated windproof front keeps the chest warm, while the lighter weight stretch fabric on the back allows body heat to escape. The improved fit features longer sleeves and a slightly wider waist, meaning those looking for a more relaxed fit are advised to size up. Three pockets to the rear allow plenty of room for fuel and valuables, and these can be easily accessed with the double-ended Vislon zip, which also makes for easy temperature regulation.
