"Smit Rondo Venetiano" - Peperomia rotundifolia The Seasonal Aisle

The Seasonal Aisle Peperomia (Peperomia), also called ornamental pepper or dwarf pepper, is a plant genus in the pepper family (Piperaceae). The approximately 1500 to 1700 species of peperomia are common in almost all tropical areas. This plant comes in a variety of leaf colors: pure green, white-green, yellow-green, red-brown, pure red or silver striped. The leaf structures and their growth are diverse, from thin to fleshy, smooth or wrinkled, from upright to flat creeping to hanging. The "Smit Rondo Venetiano" dwarf pepper has small, round leaves that are dark green to light green in color.
