What is Cordyceps Sinensis?Cordyceps Sinensis is a fungus or mushroom that lives on caterpillars in China, specifically the mountain regions. The fungus is incredibly rare as it has to be grown in very specific conditions. Due to technological advances in recent years, we are able to harvest the fungus at its natural source and cultivate it elsewhere in other countries. The fungus has been traditionally used in Tibet and China for the past 2,000 years. Initially, local herders observed that yak, goat, sheep, etc. consuming C. Sinensis during their grazing in the forest became very strong and energised. Thereafter, the fungus?s use became widespread, subsequently diffusing into western culture where it is now used in supplements.
