Joseph Joseph The innovative design of the LockBlock knife block by Joseph Joseph secures knives within the knife block and always requires the hand of an adult to operate. Children under 5 years of age are therefore not able to remove knives from the knife block. Each knife is located in a dedicated slot, which is secured by the unique cam lock mechanism. Pulling on a knife increases the adhesive force of the slot, so that knives cannot simply be pulled out of the block by force. To remove a knife from the LockBlock, press one of the buttons on both sides of the knife block firmly. Due to its position and the force required to press it, the button can only be operated by an adult hand. The mechanism inside cannot damage the delicate blades thanks to its smooth rubber surface. LockBlock is available separately as a knife block for existing knives or in combination with a high-quality 6-piece knife set. The knives available in the set are made of Japanese stainless steel and have precisely ground blades for effective use. The ergonomic handles are non-slip with wide finger protection. Each knife has a different Colour to match the corresponding slot in the knife block.
