A GORE-TEX membrane and gusseted tongue keep rain, snow and mud at bay, helped by the high cut ankle with Velcro neoprene cuff. The Tecno-3 closure system provides a secure, precise fit which can be easily adjusted on the fly, even when wet or covered in mud and the toe and heel protectors prevent damage from rocks when walking. Sidi’s MTB SR17 sole unit has fast-clearing, grippy lugs to provide traction off the bike, with the sole striking a good balance between stiffness for power transfer when pedalling and flexibility for easier walking and greater comfort. There is an option to fit extra toe studs (sold separately) in really slippery conditions and the high-wear front area has a replaceable section to extend the lifespan of the shoes. Please note: These shoes, whilst using waterproof materials, will not keep all water out during downpours or when subjected to heavy road spray.
