To the determined width, add an overhang as desired - e.g. 20mm on the left and on the right (= 40mm). Make sure that the overhang is not too large and that the pleated blind is on the left or right. the window handle (or other fittings) cannot be operated well. A distance of approx. 10mm between the pleated blind and the window handle makes sense.
