Liquid food supplement with sweetener: contains 17 mg (1ml) of elemental iron as ferrous gluconate with blueberry and lingonberry flavour. Due to its absorption mechanism, liposomal iron does not depend on intestinal receptors for its absorption, improving the bioavailability and tolerability of iron. Indicated in iron deficiency anemia and iron deficiency states as a result of increased iron needs (growth stages, pregnant women (second, third trimester), low iron intake (malnutrition, vegetarian or vegan diets), decreased iron absorption (gastrectomies, enteropathies gluten-induced, autoimmune atrophic gastritis, Helicobacter Pylory infections), chronic blood loss (profuse menses, hematuria, gastrointestinal lesions), absolute iron deficiencies associated with inflammation (chronic infections, chronic kidney disease, inflammatory bowel diseases, etc.). 1 x 1 ml directly in the mouth or in a glass of water or juice, or as recommended by the health professional. Iron-deficiency anemia: 1 ml (17 mg) daily, and assess response in the first 4-6 weeks, hemoglobin elevation of 1-2 g/dl, if the elevation is less than 1g/dl assess increase to 2 ml, and reassess to rule out inhibitory factors, diet, medications, or components of mixed anemia.
