Immun is a food for special medical purposes. It is suitable for the dietary management of nutrition-related immune deficiencies (e.g. recurrent respiratory infections). Orthomol Immun contains important micronutrients for the immune system. The nutritional characteristics of vitamin C play a key role in the immune defences. For instance, some immunocompetent cells contain a vitamin C concentration that is about 10-100 times higher than the plasma levels. It is recommended to take the content of one sachet (= daily ration) dissolved in 150-200 ml of non-carbonated water or fruit juice, during or after a meal, preferably in the morning or at midday. -Orthomol Immun should be used under medical supervision. -It is not a complete food, it is a dietary food for special medical uses. -Orthomol Immun in granulated form is free of lactose and gluten. -In case of glucose intolerance disorders, take Orthomol Immun with careful medical supervision. -Orthomol Immun contains iodine.
