Milquantel 12.5/125 mg tablets for dogs Flavoured broad spectrum deworming tablets for dogs for the treatment of mixed infections by immature and adult tapeworms and roundworms. In addition, the veterinary medicinal product can also be used to prevent heartworm disease in the case of concomitant treatment against tapeworms. The veterinary medicinal product may also be used to prevent heartworm disease (Dirofilaria immitis), when concomitant treatment against tapeworms is indicated. Contraindications Do not use the tablets for dogs in animals weighing less than 5 kg. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the active ingredients or any of the excipients. Dosage and administration Oral use. Minimum recommended dose: 0.5 mg milbemycin oxime and 5 mg praziquantel per kg are administered orally once daily.
