Lamberts FOS (formerly Eliminex®) is a natural prebiotic with fructooligosaccharides (FOS), a type of soluble fiber found in various vegetables such as chicory and onions. Regenerates the beneficial flora of the intestine. Regularizes bowel movements. Prevents and relieves abdominal swelling. It can also be taken directly from the spoon. Drink at least 2 liters of liquids daily. If any of these intakes cause excessive flatulence, reduce the dose and gradually increase it. Flatulence is a positive sign that Eliminex has reached the intestine and is feeding "friendly" bacteria. When bacteria consume Eliminex, gas is produced, which can initially lead to flatulence. However, this will disappear in a few days when more "friendly" bacteria develop and absorb the gases. For intakes greater than 10 g (or 5 g in children), divide the daily dose into 2 doses (one at the end of the day), which will help reduce flatulence. Eliminex may cause temporary swelling. This is a short-term effect and once your system "speeds up" the swelling will go away. If the swelling continues for more than 3 days, then reduce the daily intake of Eliminex®. Store in a cool, dry place, protected from light and out of the reach of young children.
