The flange spreads the load of the Nut on the part being secured, reducing the chance of damage to the part and making it less likely to loosen as a result of the increased frictional area. These Nuts are unique in that they have a rolled thread making them very tough and are colour anodised in seven different colours for increased durability. Precision machined, ideal for road or race.
