Resveratrol (also known as trans-resveratrol or 3,4',5-trihydroxysestilbene) is a naturally occurring phytoalexin, found in the skin of red grapes, peanuts, blueberries, and some other berries. Resveratrol is recognized for its beneficial effects, among others, on heart health, blood glucose control, bone health, and memory. Therefore, resveratrol is widely used as a key ingredient to promote aging. Resveratrol is a powerful antioxidant produced by some plants in response to stress, injury, or ultraviolet (UV) irradiation. One or two x 5 ml doses are recommended directly in a glass of water or juice, or according to the recommendation of the health professional. It is recommended to start with a dose of 5 ml and if the desired effects are not achieved, increase 5 ml twice a day. Resveratrol according to some studies seems to have antiplatelet or anticoagulant effects. Once opened, store in the fridge and consume within two months. Shake before using. It is recommended to take it on an empty stomach for optimal absorption, if you take it with food, better before meals. Store in a dry and cool place.
