It is utilised by the body to aid the absorption of Calcium and Phosphorus, and is important for maintaining normal bones, teeth and muscle function. Throughout the winter, and when you spend more time indoors, we limit our body's natural ability to make Vitamin D from UV light exposure. The Department of Health and Social Care recommends that adults and children over 4 take a daily supplement if they have limited sun exposure.Lifeplan's Vitamin D3 1000iu supplement was formulated with this in mind; containing 500% of the Nutrient Reference Value (the daily amount of a vitamin or mineral that the average healthy person needs to prevent deficiency) of D3.
